Set amongst a strong beach community in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs we developed a brief to accommodate the family in a home of light, space and fun beyond the small rooms of the original single level residence.

The home had to fit in every way from the current nippers Saturdays to the to the future yet the site, quite long and thin made overlapping functions quite difficult. The ground floor concept was to connect all living spaces whilst giving each a distinct aesthetic and energy. The crescendo, the rear kitchen with outdoor flow and circulation to the first floor.

The first floor- a more reserved area mirrored this energy back with bedrooms, bathroom, study spaces and the final master suite.
