Mitch

Post architectural registration, Mitch’s mission for xBYEy was to refocus on pragmatic design and building – an approach that matches his personality.

Earlier site experience as a plumber’s apprentice taught Mitch the importance of building detailing. This discipline of construction and remedial detailing was refined during university (Master of Architecture, USYD). Post-university employment was in a multi-disciplinary firm recognising the many roles an architect must complete. This was bolstered with additional study (Diploma of Project and Construction Management, UNSW).

Mitch is the nominated architect for xBYEy #9822 and has held a NSW Architect’s Registration since 2016. Mitch is registered as a Class 02 design practitioner DEP0001611.

Away from the drawing board – Mitch is an environmental enthusiast – at home hiking, mountain biking or on the water. An appreciation for nature instils the joy and requirement for creating complimentary spaces within the built environment.
